Distant to strangers that don't intrigue her, yet wild and carefree among those she cares deeply for. This fiery red mare came from the clouds. The ground strange to her until she met the shy farmer pegasus, Barry, she is comfortably at home in the sky or on the earth. Preferring clear skies and sunshine, she is skilled in bucking away the pesky clouds. A part time fair weather pony, she travels on the winds to where she is needed, bringing sunshine and warmth, as well as a bit of sarcasm and humor.

High in the clouds the sun shone bright. Another beautiful morning in the fair city of Cloudsdale. This was paradise for a certain young mare. Or so she thought. Stepping from the floor of her cloud home, the red pegasus plummeted through the clouds, streaking past neighbors in a crimson blur. Bright yellow eyes teared from the sheer force of uplift from the wind, and she pulled her goggles over her eyes to get better visibility. Below her lay a dark mass of thunderclouds covering the sight of the earth below. With a sudden jerk, she unfurled her wings, catching the updrafts to slow her descent. All too late however. Crashing through the thunderheads, she bucked and swayed through the tumultuous storm, the downpour battering her form. Through the drizzle, she sought out a soft spot to crash land. Quickly spotting a brown, soft looking mass, she attempted to slow herself by beating her wings hard against the powerful winds. With a thud she landed upon the object, finding it made a surprised shriek. Below her lay a pegasus stallion, wearing a worn Stetson hat and carrying a bushel of some sort of grain. Quickly getting off him, she stepped back and wiped rainwater from her goggles, removing them and allowing them to hang from her neck. Shaking out her black and yellow mane, she gave a nervous chuckle, watching the male get shakily to his feet. "Heh, sorry about that. Wasn't planning on crash landing today but you know how it is... I'm Fireburst." she extended a rainsoaked hoof, watching as he stared at her, bewildered. For a moment, he said nothing. Then he slowly reached and shook the red hoof with his own creamy brown one,"Barrel Roll. Call me Barry." he then picked up his bushel, explaining that it was barely, and turning to his family's quaint shack of a home, added,"Come on inside, Fire. We can dry off." as they walked up the puddle-ridden path in the deluge, the red mare giggled at her predicament, remarking to him,"I like your hat.." [Quick story of how she came to the earth :/]
