Canon Name: Fluttershy
Furcaida Name: Fluttershy#Sc
Why do you want this character?: Why not? Fluttershy represents innocence and kindness, traits that we all wish we could live by example, or keep with us throughout our lives. I am reminded of my childhood whenever I see Fluttershy; timid and easily frightened, but also happy and loving whenever around her friends or other ponies. I can relate to her as far as being a little reclusive, but also taking it upon herself to help and to protect those who cannot protect themselves. She is also the unlikely hero as well. I find that especially endearing.
How often are you online?: I work a 4 on, 4 off schedule, but I am online every night for a good five or six hours, if I am able. I will RP throughout this time whenever possible.
Personality: Fluttershy is as innocent as she is easily frightened, but as well as a strong mare and a force to be reckoned with whenever her precious animals are in danger. Approaching her outright without so much as a warning would usually startle her and cause the timid Pegasus to withdraw behind her mane to try and hide herself; or in failing that, hide altogether. Sometimes she was quick to persuade, but not usually. She’d speak up with surprising firmness once in a while, only to draw back and whimper at her own outburst with an apology that was soon to follow. Mind the Stare.
Sample Post: The sun had just come up, and what better time to wake up? Even if it WAS Sunday and the poor butter yellow Pegasus mare had been up much of the night tending to a newly arrived batch of baby animals in her little hut. She hadn’t mind, not ever! Though conscious of the bags forming under her eye, Fluttershy still rolled out of bed to make a nice hot cup of tea to wake her mind and get ready for the day. Idly, she’d wonder what to expect? An unannounced visit from her rainbow maned friend, a new injury to take care of amongst her collective of little woodland friends, or perhaps some new pony might decide to investigate her home and startle the living daylights out of her?
She dearly hoped it wasn’t that last one at any rate… not that she really minded. Humming a little tune she set about making breakfast for many, many mouths. Like a kind mother would, every animal was seen to, or at least to the best of her abilities. By the time all of her little friends had been fed the clock had chimed ten o’clock and her own stomach growled earnestly to be fed. Though as soon as she turned towards her kitchen she was stopped by a small white bunny who’s foot was tapping on the floor steadily with his little arms folded over his chest in the most adorable sulk she had seen yet.
“I’m sorry Angel Bunny, I’ll have your breakfast ready in just a minute!” Her voice sweet and soft, but the steady thump of that little foot never ended as his surrogate mother and caretaker trotted off to fix up her favourite bunny a tasty salad!
